Description
Lilia received her bachelor in Biology from Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. and her Master's degree in Pharmacology from the Basic Sciences Graduate program of the Department of Medicine at the University of Patras. Then she obtained her Ph.D degree in our lab. Following completion of her post-doctoral training, Lilia is currently group leader in the lab. Her research project is focused on the qualitative characterization of HDL functions in morbidly obese humans. Lilias has many established international collaborations in the context of joined research grants.

Description
Eleni received her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from University of Patras Medical School. She is currently leading the lipoprotein research group of our lab investigating the cross-talk between the lipoprotein transport system and the hepatic and adipose tissues in metabolic syndrome with particular emphasis in the HDL metabolic pathway.

Katerina received her M.S in biochemistry from the University of Patras Department of Chemistry and her Ph.D in Pharmacology from our laboratory. Katerina's interests focus on the role of apoliproteins in obesity and malignant heamatological disturbances.

Description
Georgia was awarded her integrated Bachelor/Master's diploma from the University of Patras Department of Pharmacy in September 2022. Then she received her professional license after completing all legaly mandated licensing steps. In September 2023 Georgia joined the lab as a Ph.D student and currently she works towards her Ph.D degree performing research on the role of lipis and lipoproteins in metabolic syndrome.

Description Katerina is currently an undergraduate student at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Patras. Katerina joined the lab in 2003 to complete the research experience requirement set by her Department for her graduation. Her research focuses on the role of apolipoprotein E on obesity and related metabolic perturbations.
